Students are matched with and then “shadow” a clinician during procedures (diagnostic and interventional), and research and development activities.

 

Course Objectives:

1.  Seek out and shadow a person from the medical field who works on a topic related to the student’s current research project in order to learn more about the field and build relationships.

The student will give a 15 minute presentation and answer questions for 5-10 minutes afterward.  The presentation will deal with the research the student is involved in as well as what was learned during the semester.
