PREPARATION OF EXTENDED ABSTRACTS

Please prepare your extended abstract according to the instructions given here. The abstract should be submitted to sbec2009@fiu.edu as one MS Word file (not pdf).  Use the Template provided under the “sample papers” section below. Abstracts that do not use the template or do not meet formatting requirements will be returned to the authors for reformatting.

Also, please make sure to return the copyright form by email to sbec2009@fiu.edu or by fax to 305 348 6954

Although the extended abstracts are limited to minimum of 2 pages, we will accept longer papers. There will be a publication cost of $50 for 4-page papers, and $100 for 6-page papers.

Please send your extended abstract as soon as possible, but no later than March 15, 2009.  This deadline is important to meet the printer's deadline to have the book ready for the conference.  Please note also that the
early registration deadline is March 31, 2009.

Authors must register for the conference in order for their paper to be included in the proceedings.
