ABSTRACT PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION

The preferred way for abstract submission is to E-mail your abstracts to sbec2009@fiu.edu, or alternatively, mail a copy of your abstracts to Anthony McGoron,, PhD. In your E-mail or cover letter please identify the corresponding author with complete mailing address, telephone number and E-mail address.

After acceptance of the short abstracts, the authors should provide a 2-page extended abstract (4 page extended abstracts will also be considered with an additional printing cost of $50, and 6-page abstracts for an additional cost of $100) that will be published in a book entitled Biomedical Engineering, Recent Developments. A sample template for extended abstracts is provided. The short abstracts will be published in the special issue of the International Journal of Medical Implants and Devices.

The registration fee includes Friday Evening Reception, Saturday and Sunday Breakfasts, Saturday Luncheon, and Saturday Evening Banquet Dinner and one copy of the conference proceedings, as well as copy of the Journal containing the short Abstracts. All participants, presenters, session chairs and students must register by filling up the conference registration form and paying the appropriate registration fees.
